For those of you who like line dancing, here’s an opportunity to have some fun and be a part of something good for the community.

United Way of Chelan & Douglas Counties (UWCDC) is sponsoring a Flash Mob that will perform a surprise and sudden dance, performed to U2’s Beautiful Day (example can be viewed online at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pllkGGyK48w) at the Wenatchee Valley Mall at 10 AM, Friday, November 27th.  With the objective of the Flash Mob being increased awareness of UWCDC, they have chosen the day after Thanksgiving, the busiest day of the year for the mall, for maximum exposure.   The event will be videoed and photographed and made available for public viewing on UWCDC’s website and they anticipate coverage by The Wenatchee World, as well.

The dance will be a simple, easy to learn dance, choreographed and taught to all participants by Wenatchee High School’s Dance Team on the following dates:
Wednesday, November 18th, 6:00-7:30 PM at Orchard Middle School
Monday, November 23rd, 6:00-7:30 PM at Orchard Middle School
Tuesday, November 24th, 6:00-7:30 PM at Orchard Middle School
Given there are only 3 practice sessions (the last one to be done at the mall), it is important that participants be able to attend all practices, in addition to the actual event.
